One week in Andalusia with a motorhome
Unfortunately, we had a lot of rain this week. But we made the best of it. And we were glad that we had a camper of this size because it was pretty wet outside.
From Malaga airport we went directly to Tarifa. There, my sister and her little family have been surfing for 2 months. Since the weather was not so nice, we did not see much of Andalucia. About halfway through our holiday weeks, we went to Almerimar with my sister and family (about 4 hours drive).
There we also had a lot of sun and some wind for surfing, but we will definitely travel to Tarifa again and then look at more of Andalusia. It was very nice in Tarifa despite the rain and we enjoyed it very much.
We would definitely go back there at about the same time of year as it is not so crowded with tourists. The spanish food, especially the fresh fish was great. Compared to Switzerland, everything in Spain is very cheap. We’ll be back … =)
Service & Camper:
First, we wanted to rent a smaller camper, because we traveled in pairs. But then we were very happy to get a “bigger” camper. So we had enough space to invite my sister and family to dinner.
The shower was also a big plus. We were amazed at how much water there was in the tank and how long it would last. Even with the drainage of the sewage and the toilet was very easy and no problem.
We were very satisfied with the service. Despite very short-term booking, everything worked flawlessly. We were also very happy to have the takeover and delivery at Malaga airport. So we could save a taxi or bus to the rental station. The handover was in German, which was great for us. That’s how we understood everything. =)
The welcome was warm and nice. Everything very uncomplicated. We can only recommend them! Very nice people!
